Music stand

This music stand is based on those in use in the music room at Gregynog Hall, the country house and conference centre near Newtown, mid-Wales. The design is similar or identical to those in the Royal College of Music Museum in London. The originals are made from oak, but I can make them from a number of different woods. The height is adjustable so that the bottom of the page of music is between about 740mm (29 inches) and 1110mm (44 inches) from the floor.

Stool

This stool was designed for the viol player Lucy Robinson who has two of them, one of which always goes with her when she performs. They are easily portable, elegant and timeless pieces of furniture, which solve the common problem of searching a church or other performing venue for something to sit on. I can make them from different timbers and in different sizes according to your requirements.
